Whew...just finished reworking all of our Etsy.com info. Shop profile, shop policies. I know much more about us now than I need to. But, if anyone is interested. Here goes !

Ah…you’re here! You must want to know more about us as people, not just pictures and prices. We’ve been asked “Why did Art in the Family form into a business rather than remain individual hobbies?” Well, our families and friends enjoy our gifts and after they started ordering our pieces we decided to share with you all and open this online gift shop. We get to create, you get to enjoy. Whether you give the gift to yourself or another, we are only happy when you’re thrilled.

ART in the FAMILY contributors are…
Madeline (mother) Portrait Artist, Professional Quilter, Sewing Master
Richard (father Carpenter and moral support for us all
Katrina (daughter): Designer of Hot Wraps, Abstract and Sculpture Artist, Webmaster

We brainstorm together, make product improvements, or bring a whole new creation to our line (examples: oyster shell ring holders, thimbles) which re-inspires and motivates us to do more. Simply, we’re going to be creating no matter what.

All products are made in America in smoke free homes.

Custom orders have a 2 week lead time. 50% down, we will send an invoice via PayPal.

Payment
e.g., methods, terms, deadlines, taxes, cancellation policy.
We accept all major credit cards via PayPal. (They have made it so easy to use even if you don’t have a PayPal account.)
Shipping
e.g., methods, upgrades, deadlines, insurance, confirmation, international customs.
Your purchases will be shipped within 48 hours of your payment clearing (unless a custom order)
We ship via the United States Post Office unless pricing or size deems another carrier necessary
We ship international
Refunds and Exchanges
We reserve the ability to deal with a refund or exchange on a case by case basis due to the nature of our products. Hot (and cold) wraps are personal items and cannot be returned; custom portraits because they are custom.

It is very important to us that you’re happy with your ART in the FAMILY purchase. Please feel free to contact us prior to your purchase with as many questions as you have.

Please contact us within three days of delivery if there is a problem with your purchase. We’re unable to accept returns past that time. If you do decide to return your item, shipping costs will be your responsibility.
